The survey highlights that The Company is run on strong principals echoed in the management style with 89% of employees agreeing with this statement.
The positive working environment was also reflected in the majority of staff stating that they rarely have a bad day at work (a top 15 position overall). This was attributed to a culture where employees free at ease to talk to their managers about issues, but also the community spirit in the workplace. The team at Whale are also proud to facilitate a flexible working policy giving employees the freedom to manage their time.
Speaking about the fantastic results, Managing Director, Patrick Hurst commented: -
‘We are delighted to have been listed for the 5th year in a row, particularly given the fact that the workforce has doubled during that time. To know that we have such loyal support from our employees is a great endorsement for the company. We believe that any business is only as good as the people who work in it. Without exception, Whale is full of exceptional people. What a year! Two new factories and a new business acquisition in the US, all down to the hard work of our employees over many years.’
