Whale Employee Receives Black Belt in LSS

Whale Managing Director Patrick Roberts, left, earlier this year recognised Whale Senior Manufacturing Engineer James Stewart, right, for achieving his Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Black Belt certification.

This is a fantastic achievement from James who leads the Whale Lean Six Sigma programme to improve performance and efficiency throughout the company.  James led the Bangor team to train three Lean Six Sigma Green Belts and secure more than £100,000 of savings through 10 LSS projects. Congratulations also goes to Whale employees Andrew O'Neil, Heather Matchett and Alex Dugan who achieved their Lean Six Sigma Green Belts!
