ABOUT THE JOB

A fantastic opportunity exists for an individual who is keen to play their part in the growth of a UK company with manufacturing at its heart. Whale has a wide range of products offering customers innovative and unique water and heating system solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Applicants must be passionate about business, outgoing, and enthusiastic. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who can work autonomously and as part of a team.

  • COMMUNICATION SKILLS - Excellent written and verbal communication / presentation and strong interpersonal / negotiation skills. Ability to build a rapport quickly.
  • PLANNING AND ORGANISING - Strong organisational and analytical skills are required, along with the ability to methodically plan and prioritise workload efficiently and effectively to maximise results through measureable plans.
  • STRONG IT SKILLS -IT literate with strong working knowledge of m/s office suite as a minimum requirement.
  • COLLABORATIVE - A strong team player with the ability to work in close collaboration with various stakeholders such as colleagues/external partners and or customers in order to achieve goals.
  • Good commercial awareness.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

The successful candidate will assist in executing the company Business Plan working closely with internal and external stakeholders to support the company in achieving stretching commercial goals. They will be part of a small close-knit team, and will be required to collaborate with the sales, marketing and customer service teams to drive sales and ensure Whale deliver excellent levels of customer service.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • A Degree level qualification in business or a related business discipline.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant industry experience.
