Having a Whale of a Time at the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show 2018

This year's Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show saw more than 90,000 visitors pass through its doors between Tuesday 20th - Sunday 25th February. The Whale stand was situated in a new location in Hall 3 where customers flocked to throughout the week to enter our competitions and find out more about our innovative water and heating products.

Congratulations to Mr Fisher who was the lucky winner of an Amazon Echo and Echo Dot after successfully finding all the fluffy whales hiding in our new range of Easi-Slide Sockets (pictured above); Nikki Gladdish (pictured below) who won a £50 Go Outdoors voucher for posing with our #WhaleAreCaravanners cut out; and Claire Legg, Carole Hunt and Nick who have won a Whale Portable Pump Kit each for completing our Customer Feedback Survey.

A big thank you to everyone who visited our stand during the show and took part in all of our competitions, we hope you enjoyed the show!

The Whale team also supported our customers Elddis and Swift with heating demos on both stands for the duration of the week.

The Bailey stand hosted a special guest for the week helping celebrate their 70th anniversary. Gladys, the 1960s Bailey Maestro which is pictured below, was recently restored by Caravan Journalist and enthusiast Lee Davey. Gladys features the discreet Whale Easi-Slide Water In Socket as well as our 2kW underfloor fitted Space Heater and Expanse Water Heater to compliment the caravan's retro look and feel. Congratulations to Lee and his family for a fantastic restoration project. Follow Gladys's transformation on Lee's YouTube Channel.

As ever the show gained a lot of interest from the media with ITV’s This Morning presenting from a line-up of leisure vehicles including a Swift Basecamp on the opening day of the show from their TV studio’s on London’s South Bank. Click here to see the full video.

The 2018 Motorhome and Caravan Show arrives at The NEC on 16th October running until 21st October. We hope to see you all there!
